Benefits of Infrared Sauna?

  • Deep Heat Penetration: Infrared saunas use light to heat the body directly, allowing for deeper heat penetration. This can promote a more intense sweat at lower temperatures compared to traditional saunas.
  • Detoxification: The deep heat causes a profuse sweat, which can help flush out toxins from the body, including heavy metals and other environmental pollutants.
  • Improved Circulation: The heat increases heart rate and blood flow, promoting better circulation throughout the body, which can help in muscle recovery and reduce muscle soreness.
  • Pain Relief: The deep heat can help alleviate pain, particularly for those with chronic pain conditions such as arthritis or muscle injuries. The increased circulation also aids in pain relief.
  • Relaxation and Stress Reduction: The warm environment and infrared light can help induce relaxation, reducing stress and promoting a sense of calm.
  • Improved Sleep Quality: Regular use of an infrared sauna can promote better sleep patterns due to its relaxation effects.
  • Skin Health: Infrared saunas can improve skin tone and texture by increasing circulation and promoting sweat, which helps clear pores and rejuvenate the skin.
  • Weight Loss: Although indirect, the increased heart rate and sweat can lead to calorie burning, contributing to weight loss over time.
  • Immune System Boost: The heat stress from an infrared sauna can mimic a mild fever, which might boost the immune system and increase the production of white blood cells.
  • Improved Joint Mobility: The warmth and increased circulation can promote joint mobility, making infrared saunas beneficial for those with joint issues.

What to Expect?

Unsure about what your experience will be like at Restore's Infrared Sauna session? After filling out a basic waiver, our team will guide you to your individual Infrared Sauna. Before commencing your session, it's advisable to disrobe and wrap yourself in a towel or robe. Once inside the sauna, you will remain for a duration of 15 to 40 minutes. Hydrating with ample water before, during, and after your session is recommended. Expect a significant amount of sweating during your time in the sauna - this is a positive outcome, as sweating aids in the detoxification process, eliminating harmful free radicals and heavy metals that can have lasting negative impacts on overall health. Upon the conclusion of your session, changing into breathable, loose clothing is advised, as you may continue to sweat for a period post-session.
